A replacement chain has to match three numbers on your guide bar: pitch, gauge and drive links. The Tietoc 6-inch chain is 1/4-inch low-profile pitch, 0.043-inch gauge and 36 drive links, with full-chisel cutters for fast cuts. If your saw starts smoking, pulls to one side or makes fine dust instead of chips, the chain is dull. Swap it, and flip the guide bar while you are at it so both rails wear evenly.
Guide plates wear on the rails and nose sprocket over time; a fresh 6-inch guide plate keeps a new chain running true. Spare 21V 2000mAh batteries and replacement chargers keep a second saw ready, and a replacement cover is a small part that keeps the saw safe to use.
Here is a short list of the Tietoc parts that wear first, and how to tell when each one needs replacement. Keeping a couple of them on hand saves a trip mid-project and keeps a little saw handy for every yard and garden job.
The chain is the part you will replace most. Hitting dirt, stones or a nail can damage the cutters in one cut, and seasonal storm clean-up wears a chain faster than light pruning. The guide bar wears more slowly; check the rails for a burr or uneven groove each time you change the chain. A worn bar lets the chain wander and puts extra load on the motor. The 21V battery is the next item on the list: if a pack no longer holds a charge for a full session, a compatible spare restores your run time. Chargers mostly go missing rather than fail, and the cover and splash guard can crack if the saw is dropped; replace them before the next cut, because they are part of the safety design.
Lubrication problems are often mistaken for a worn part. If the chain smokes or the cut slows down, check the oil reservoir and clean the oil port before ordering anything. Correct chain tension also solves a lot of reported problems: a chain that jumps off the bar is usually just loose. With quality parts, regular cleaning and the right oil, a Tietoc mini chainsaw can tackle branches and firewood projects for a long time, and small upgrades like a 4000mAh battery or a second chain keep the kit working even harder.
Remove the battery first. Loosen the bar nut and the tension screw, take off the cover and lift the old chain off the sprocket. Lay the new chain around the bar with the cutting edges on top facing forward, seat the drive links in the bar groove and around the sprocket, refit the cover and tighten the tension screw until the chain is snug but still pulls by hand. Tighten the bar nut, oil the chain and run the saw briefly before the first cut.
They fit 6-inch bars with 1/4-inch LP pitch, 0.043-inch gauge and 36 drive links. Check your current chain against those numbers.
It depends on wood and care. Keeping the chain oiled and out of dirt makes a big difference; replace it when it makes dust instead of chips.
The 21V pack is made for the Tietoc mini chainsaw slide rail.
